# The Drumtix Check-in App

> Mobile check-in app for scanning tickets and managing your door.

The Drumtix check-in app is a mobile-optimised web app used by your door team on the night. It runs in the browser — no app store download needed.

## Accessing the app

Open **[checkin.drumtix.com](https://checkin.drumtix.com)** on any smartphone or tablet and sign in with your Drumtix account.

  Doorstaff members must be added to your organisation and assigned to the event before they can access it in the check-in app. See [Door Team](/door-checkin/door-team).

## What door staff can do

* View all events they've been assigned to
* Scan QR codes on tickets
* Manually look up attendees
* Check in guest list entries
* Browse recent check-ins and live scan feed

## Admin view vs doorstaff view

* **Owners and admins** see all events in the check-in app
* **Doorstaff** only see events they've been assigned to as scanners

## Recommended setup

For the best scanning experience:

* Use a modern smartphone (iPhone or Android) with a rear camera
* Good lighting at the door improves scan speed significantly
* Keep the app open in the browser — it does not need to be re-authenticated between scans
* If scanning on multiple devices simultaneously, each device works independently
