# Recurring Events

> Set up a recurring schedule to automatically generate events on a repeating basis.

<Info>Recurring events are a **Pro** feature.</Info>

If you run a night on a regular schedule (weekly, monthly, etc.), recurring event templates let you define the event once and have Drumtix generate future instances automatically.

## Creating a recurring template

1. Go to **Settings → Recurring**
2. Click **New Template**
3. Configure the base event details (name, venue, description, default tiers)
4. Set the recurrence rule (weekly on Fridays, first Saturday of the month, etc.)
5. Save — Drumtix will generate upcoming event instances according to the schedule

## Managing generated events

Each generated event is a full independent event — you can edit its details, add specific tiers, update the cover image, or archive it without affecting the template or other instances.

## Editing a template

Changes to a template apply to **future** generated events only. Events already created are not retroactively updated.

## Archiving a template

Archiving a template stops future events from being generated. Existing events are unaffected.

Go to **Settings → Recurring**, find the template, and click **Archive**.
