# Release Schedules

> Automatically release ticket tiers at a set time or when a prior tier sells out.

<Info>Release schedules are a **Pro** feature.</Info>

Release schedules let you automate tier drops — for example, releasing a second wave of tickets at a set time, or automatically opening General Admission when Early Bird sells out.

## Setting up a release schedule

1. Open your event and go to the **Tickets** tab
2. Click **Release Schedule**
3. For each tier, choose a trigger:
   * **Date & time** — the tier activates at an exact time
   * **When tier sells out** — select the tier that, once sold out, activates this one
4. Save the schedule

Tiers with a future release date are hidden from buyers until they activate. Tiers set to activate on sellout of another tier will go live automatically the moment the prior tier's last ticket is sold.

## Things to know

* A tier must be **inactive** for a release schedule trigger to control it. If a tier is already active, the schedule has no effect.
* You can combine both trigger types — for example, set a tier to activate at a date/time but only if the prior tier has sold out.
* Release schedules run automatically — no manual action needed on the night.
