# Promoter Tracking

> Assign promoters to events, track their sales, and manage payouts.

Promoters are affiliates who drive ticket sales on your behalf in exchange for a percentage of revenue. Drumtix tracks their sales and calculates what you owe them.

## Adding a promoter to your organisation

1. Go to **Promoters** in the main navigation
2. Click **Add Promoter**
3. Enter their name and default revenue share percentage
4. Save

## Assigning a promoter to an event

1. Open the event and go to the **Promoters** tab
2. Click **Add Promoter**
3. Select the promoter and set the revenue share % for this event (can differ from the default)
4. Save

Each promoter gets a unique tracking link for the event. Tickets purchased via their link are attributed to them automatically.

## Viewing promoter performance

The **Promoters** tab on an event shows:

* Tickets sold per promoter
* Revenue generated per promoter
* Share amount owed

## Recording a payout

When you pay a promoter:

1. Find them in the event's Promoters tab
2. Click **Mark as Paid**
3. The payout is recorded with a timestamp

Payout history is visible on the event's Promoters tab and on the promoter's global profile.

## Organisation-wide promoter stats

Go to **Promoters** in the main nav to see all-time stats for each promoter across all events — total tickets sold, total revenue generated, and total paid out.
