Manual check-in is a fallback for situations where a buyer’s QR code can’t be scanned — for example, a dead phone battery or a damaged ticket.

How to manually check in

  1. In the check-in app, tap the event
  2. Tap Manual (or Orders)
  3. Search by the buyer’s name or email address
  4. Find their ticket in the results
  5. Tap Check In
The ticket is marked as checked in immediately, just as if it had been scanned.

Verifying identity

When manually checking someone in, it’s good practice to ask for the name on the booking and match it against the result before tapping Check In.

Guest list manual check-in

Guest list entries can also be manually checked in from the Guest List tab in the check-in app. Search by name and tap Mark Arrived.
