Starting a scan session

  1. Open checkin.drumtix.com
  2. Tap the event you’re working the door for
  3. Tap Scan — your device’s camera activates

Scanning

Hold the camera over the QR code on the buyer’s ticket (printed, email, or wallet pass). The scan result appears immediately: The screen shows the buyer’s name and ticket tier for every valid scan so you can verify identity if needed.

After a scan

The scanner resets automatically after each result — you don’t need to tap anything between scans.

If the camera won’t focus

  • Ensure the ticket screen brightness is turned up
  • Ask the buyer to zoom in on the QR code if it’s small
  • Use Manual Check-in as a fallback

Multiple scanners

You can run the check-in app on multiple devices simultaneously. Check-ins sync in real time — an “already scanned” response will correctly trigger on a second device if someone tries to re-use a ticket.
