Drumtix processes all payments via Stripe Connect. For online ticket sales, your revenue (minus fees) settles directly into your own connected Stripe account at the time of purchase — Drumtix doesn’t hold your funds until after your event. Stripe then pays it out to your bank on your normal schedule. Drumtix is the merchant of record (buyers see “Drumtix” on their card statement), but the money lands in your Stripe account, not ours.

Payout timeline (online sales)

Your first payout from a new Stripe account may take longer (typically 7–14 days) while Stripe completes identity verification, and new accounts have a short initial payout hold as a standard fraud-protection measure. You can see your balance and upcoming payouts in the payout indicator in your dashboard header, and per-event under Event → Financials.

Refunds and cancellations

If you refund an order or cancel an event, the refunded ticket price is reclaimed automatically from your Stripe balance — Stripe reverses the original transfer. If your Stripe balance is low, the amount is recovered from your next sales or payout. You don’t need to send money back manually. Whether the Drumtix platform fee comes back too depends on the refund reason: it’s returned to the buyer when an event is cancelled or you refund at your own discretion, and retained when the buyer requests the refund. Fee breakdown

For each ticket sold, the following fees are deducted before you receive the payout:
  • Stripe processing fee — typically 1.5% + 25p for UK cards (varies by card type)
  • Drumtix platform fee — see Pricing

Changing your payout schedule

Log in to your Stripe dashboard and navigate to Settings → Payouts to adjust the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly).

Door cash payments

Cash collected at the door is recorded in Drumtix but is not processed through Stripe — it goes directly to you. Cash revenue appears in your event financials as a separate line item.

Door card payments (Terminal)

If you use a Stripe Terminal card reader at the door, those payments go directly into your connected Stripe account and settle on your normal Stripe payout schedule.
