Enabling transfers
Transfers are opt-in per event:- Open your event and go to Event Settings → Visibility
- Toggle on Allow ticket transfers
- Save
How transfers work for buyers
When transfers are enabled, buyers can initiate a transfer from their order confirmation page. They enter the recipient’s email address, and the recipient receives a new ticket confirmation. The original ticket is invalidated.Things to know
- Transfers can only happen before the event starts
- Each ticket can only be transferred once
- Refunds apply to the original purchaser; transfers do not affect refund eligibility
- Door staff see the current valid ticket holder’s name when scanning
